ESL (English as a second language) refers to the use or study of English by speakers with a different native language. ESL is most commonly used in relation to teaching and learning English.

ESL Jobs - refers to jobs teaching ESL to students whose first language is not English. Jobs teaching ESL can be found in countries where English is the first language and in countries where English is learnt as a second or other language. ESL is more commonly heard in the United States, Canada and Australia where as the UK, Ireland and New Zealand, the term ESL has been replaced by ESOL (English for speakers of other languages). Whether you use ESL Jobs or ESOL Jobs it refers to jobs teaching English to students who whose first language is not English.
