Content: How to apply for ESL teaching jobs
There are several ways to apply for an ESL teaching
job.
You can apply online, telephone, in-person or written letter.
Most teachers apply online using a combination of ESL job
websites, email and telephone. If you are in Asia you have
the choice of searching online job ads or newspaper classifieds
and applying in-person. It is possible to apply by written
letter and mail, however, it is a very slow process and difficult
for schools to reply to. When applying for a job you should
have a few things prepared. Here is a quick reference list.
NOTE: The application procedure of each school could require
additional documents.
Reference list:
Resume/ Cover Letter/C.V.
Passport/Passport Copy
Photos (4x6 and passport sized photos)
Degree/Diploma
Certificates (CELTA, TESOL TEFL, TESL, etc.)

Reference Letters (usually two)
